Londonderry Choir supports Haiti Appeal
The cheque was received by Will Doran, of Eglinton, who is the congregational representative for Tearfund in Kilfennan Presbyterian Church.
It was presented on behalf of the choir by Edward Laverty and Albert Buchanan, and the money came from the offering at the choir's 60th anniversary praise festival in Kilfennan Church earlier this year.

Hide AdChoir members have resumed their weekly practices in Lismacarroll Mission Hall and have set the date for next year's annual festival for Saturday, April 2, in Kilfennan Church.
Now 60 years in existence, the Londonderry choir continues to have a busy series of engagements for this season.
Forthcoming events include evening services in Urney Presbyterian Church, Strabane, on October 17 and Malin Presbyterian Church, County Donegal, on October 24.
Next month the Londonderry members will join other gospel male choirmen from throughout the province at the annual Banbridge Festival of Praise on Saturday, November 27.

Hide AdThey will have a local engagement the following day (Sunday, November 28) in Foyle Fold in the Waterside area of the city.
Choir leader Craig Henderson said: "We estimate that our Londonderry choir has taken part in services and meetings at more than 75 venues throughout Ireland in the past 60 years.
"We have returned to a number of these venues on many occasions and they will continue to be part of our programme."
