Kevin attends Teachers' Institute

Kevin Donaghy, principal of St Colman's Primary School Annaclone last week attended the 10th annual 'Teachers' Institute' event in the Houses of Parliament.

In the ten years since it was launched, “Teachers’ Institute” has trained more than 500 teachers, from all parts of the UK, giving them skills and knowledge of Parliament to pass on to their students and fellow teachers.

Fully funded by Parliament’s Education Service, Mr Donaghy will get to meet the Rt Hon Nicky Morgan MP, Secretary of State for Education, participate in a question and answer session with the Speaker and hear from parliamentarians of all parties about their first experience of the Commons and Lords.
