Festival is fitting tribute - Storey
Commenting after attending Saturdays event Mervyn Storey said: “Yet again we saw a community shine through, despite all the painful memories and the challenges presented in recalling the events of a year ago when James so tragically lost his life.
“The Elliott family, The Bush Unit of the Community Rescue Service, Stranocum District Development Group and the local community all united in what can only be described as a fitting tribute to James.

The unveiling of the Command Support Unit for the Community Rescue Service is a very tangible evidence of the kind hearted support of many form the local community and beyond who were touched by this tragic event.
“Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the family.”
