Residents Sew Energy Efficient
The event provided participants with information on how to be more energy efficient at home, helping them to save money on household heating and electricity bills which is a priority for most people at present.
Participants were also given the opportunity to take part in a practical workshop in which they made their own draught excluders.

Hide AdThe workshop was facilitated by Rosin McAteer from local business Procraftynation.
Pearl Mahon, Energy Efficiency Adviser for Coleraine Borough Council explained, “This workshop demonstrated just one example of a low cost, practical measure that can help you save energy and money at home.
“We often don’t realise that we can be much more energy efficient by just implementing a number of simple measures in our own homes.
“People are still unaware that there are a number of grants available for home insulation which can have a massive impact on heating your home”.
The event was funded by the Causeway Coast and Glens and Mid and East Antrim Cluster andhad a number of local residents take part.
