Davys Street Fire ‘deliberate’, say NIFRS
“NIFRS received a report at 11:29pm last night (May 6) of a fire at derelict residential premises in the Davy Street area of Carrickfergus,” a spokesperson said.
“Two fire appliances from Carrickfergus Fire Station and one from Whitehead Fire Station were deployed to a first floor fire at a derelict mid terrace house in the area.

Hide Ad“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using thermal imaging cameras dealt with the incident.
“The incident finished at 00:17am and early indications would suggest that the fire was started deliberately. The incident has been passed through to the Police Service of Northern Ireland.”
