Police revisit scene of officer’s death
Police advise motorists some roads will be closed for a short time and diversions will be in place between 3am and 3.45am. Roads affected will be the Clooney Road junction, King Street Link, Limavady Road and Glendermott Road at Dale’s Corner.

Hide AdThe young police officer’s death stunned the community and the family said they were comforted by the level of support from all sections of the community in Londonderry and beyond.
At her funeral, Constable Philippa Reynolds’ sister told mourners at Mossley Methodist Church that she was her hero.
Debra Reynolds choked back tears as she paid tribute to her sister and her best friend.
“Never in my life would I think that I had to be the one saying goodbye,” she said.

Hide AdConstable Reynolds, 27, was a back-seat passenger in the unmarked police car that was struck by a 4x4 vehicle in Londonderry in the early hours of Saturday morning, February 9.
Two men have been charged in connection with her death.
PSNI Chief Constable Matt Baggott said she was a superb police officer, the best of the best.
