Owner grateful no-one injured
Jim Conlon, owner of Midas Jewellery, said he wanted to quash rumours doing the rounds about the thieves wielding iron bars during the robbery.
The robbery took place shortly before 5pm last Thursday evening, September 12, when the masked men threatened staff before making off with a quantity of jewellery.

Hide AdThey subsequently fled in a blue car in the direction of Antrim Street, police confirmed.
Mr Conlon told the Str: “Only one of the men was armed.”
“It could have been a lot worse and I am thankful no-one was seriously hurt.”
Two men were arrested by detectives investigating the robbery.
Police said the two, a 25 year old man and a 31 year old man, had been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Meanwhile, police have issued a public appeal in respect of the robbery.
