David Lowry Archibald (52), of Leck Road, admitted a charge of persistent use of an communications network to cause inconvenience and needless anxiety between February 21 and March 4 last year.
District Judge Michael Ranaghan also put in place a one year restraining order preventing the defendant having contact with the injured party.

Hide AdThe court heard that Archibald told police that he had been trying to tell his ex-wife about his mother’s health and his own.
A defence lawyer said the incident happened over a time limited period and there had been no further incidents. He said the defendant accepted the relationship had ended.
