Hide AdMcAfee, who was represented in court by solicitor Michael Fahy, was remanded on continuing bail to appear before Dungannon Crown Court on June 30.
Following the remand, Mr Fahy said it was “regrettably” necessary to withdraw the services of his firm, John Fahy & Co, from the proceedings.
The lawyer said this decision had been taken “in keeping with a resolution passed by the Bar Council” regarding the rules for legal aid payments in the Crown Court.
