Cookstown Primary School gets additional nursery places
This follows an unprecedented demand for nursery places in the school which was designated as “Outstanding” following a recent ETI Inspection Report.
Commenting on the news, Mr Tony Devlin, Principal said “This is very good news for Holy Trinity Primary School and the wider Cookstown community-it is especially good news for the very many parents and children who were previously unable to secure a nursery place. We wish to put on record our thanks to the Education Minister, Mr John O Dowd. We would also like to thank and acknowledge the work of CCMS and local political representativeswho have supported our development proposal for additional nursery provision- we are very grateful to them. We have very ambitious plans to expand and develop nursery provision on the site and this announcement by the Department of Education is an important first step in realising that vision”
