Community groups urged to engage with new programme
The programme, currently taking applications from across the Threemilewater DEA, provides support and the opportunity to work with four other groups on a project with a budget of up to £10,000.
He said: “This is a great opportunity for groups to receive an assessment of need and the support to meet that need. Then, five groups from the area can work together on a project based around creating shared spaces or activities. I’d encourage groups to engage in this scheme as it rolls-out in each DEA. I’d like to thank CORE New Mossley, Monkstown Village Initiatives and the new Jordanstown group for attending to hear about the programme and Audrey Murray MBE from LEDCOM for explaining it.”
