Clear driving record ends for woman
Sandra Mills, of 27 Hamilton Park, Ballymoney, admitted the offence which took place at High Street, Ballymoney, on May 14.
The court was told that a police patrol saw defendant pull into the side of the road at High Street, Ballymoney, and observed her getting out of the vehicle and crossing over to the other side twoards the Post Office.

Hide AdProsecution evidence was that defendant appeared to be slightly unsteady and the police officers, who witnessed this, turned their vehicle around and spoke to defendant whose breath smelt of intoxicating liquor.
A subsequent breath test revealed an alcohol content of 69 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.
A defending solicitor pointed out that his client, aged 59, admitted she had made a great error of judgement and that she had felt she was safe to drive. Clearly, he said, this was not the casse.
The solicitor stressed that his client was sorry for what she had done and apoplogised to the court.
He said defendant had a clear driving record for some 42 years. She was currently unemployed and was on benefits
