Mrs Hall said she was looking forward to her new position.
She told the Carrick Times: “I am delighted to have been appointed as the new principal of Carrickfergus Central Primary School.
“Crumlin Integrated Primary School was very much at the heart of the community with a great family ethos and that is what attracted me to Carrickfergus Central when I first visited the school – it felt like a home from home.
“I look forward to growing the school in the local community and ensuring that each child has the best possible educational experience enabling them to reach their full potential.”
