Can Health Minister Michelle O'Neill now deliver on Desertcreat College outside Cookstown?
Last week, her party colleague and MP for Mid Ulster, Francie Molloy said he was requesting an ‘urgent’ meeting with the minister to discuss the stalled project.
With the police training facility no longer part of the proposed complex, Mr Molloy pointed out that Michelle O’Neill was now the minister responsible.

“As the project now falls within the remit of the new Health Minister, I am keen to find out just how this will now move forward. It is vital that this is progressed quickly. I have written to the Minister requesting a meeting with myself, our MLAs and some of our local councillors. I am keen that this takes place early so that we can press the Minister the importance of this strategic project.”
