Brussels attacks force cancellation of Easter Rising event
Sinn Féin confirmed the event was cancelled out of respect for the victims of the Brussels terror attacks on Tuesday morning, March 22.
“All events have been cancelled and flights back to Ireland have been arranged for the visitors,” a spokesperson confirmed. “Martina was travelling via London and Paris with a group of 20 from the north, but again they have made alternative arrangements to get home.”

“This morning’s attacks on people at airport and metro stations in Brussels are deplorable and I condemn them unreservedly.
