Board moves should not mean exclusion - Storey
Mr. Storey warned against any attempt to exclude representatives from faith groups from serving on boards of governors and education authorities as part of future education structures.
The DUP MLA said: “As the process of convergence continues, it is important that it is not used as excuse to exclude representatives from certain faith groups, who have shown commitment and dedication down through the years, from serving as governors of schools or in the new structures that will replace the education and library boards. “I have consistently defended the rights of people from faith groups to make an input into the education system,” he said.
