Bail refused for man who kneed pregnant woman in stomach
Twenty seven year old Liam Lavery, of Ardowen, Craigavon, appeared the dock facing a number of charges.
He is charged that on September 27 he assaulted a female and entered a house with intent to do damage as well as assaulting a female, threatening to damage property and making a threat to kill on October 8.

Hide AdA detective constable alleged that on September 27 Lavery kneed the injured party in the stomach and also caused damage.
She added that on October 8 he grabbed the injured party and hit her on the left side of the face. She was five months pregnant.
District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said that he had no confidence Lavery would abide by any conditions set by the court.
He said the defendant was back in court for a litany of offences.

Hide AdJudge Bates said this involved domestic abuse and there was a high likelihood of Lavery re-offending and interfering with witnesses.
He remanded him in custody to appear in court again by way of videolink on November 1.
