ANOTHER burglary in Moneymore
In what could be the sixth such incident in recent months, a house in Lawford Street was broken into in the early hours of this morning [Feb 22].
It is understood the home owners were away, but it is not yet clear what was taken in the latest break-in.
DUP Mid Ulster MLA, Ian McCrea has condemned the attack.

“I am appalled to hear of this burglary and outrightly condemn the heartless thugs that are responsible.
“Having met with local businesses and the police regarding the increase in burglaries in the area, I am more than aware of the concerns people have about the safety of their homes and businesses and have been and have sought a higher police presence in the village.
“I understand they are carrying out a review of CCTV across the council area and I have asked them to include Moneymore within their review which is hoped to be finalised in March.
