A SPECIAL tournament and supper was held on Wednesday, March 20, to mark the 50th anniversary of Railway Street Presbyterian Church Indoor Bowling Club.
Formed in 1963, the club was one of several new organisations formed during the first few years of the ministry of the Rev Howard Cromie.
During the evening the club captain Margaret McKee and club secretary Robert McClelland presented the ‘John McBurney President’s Cup’ to Doreen Hyde who had the highest score over four tournaments held during the 2012/2013 season.
Also during the evening members took part in the Captain’s night tournament and the winners were Marion Stevenson and Eric Scott.
