“I must say I am enjoying life more than ever right now,” says Robert, “We are getting tremendous a reaction everywhere we appear and what pleases me most is that more and more young people are coming to our dances.
“And they certainly know how to dance too. There seems to be a great emphasis on jiving now and it’s the young folk who appear to be leading the way in this department!”
As well as fulfilling dance dates in all parts of the country, Robert is also very much in demand for concert appearances.

“It’s good to see the concert scene flourishing in tandem with county dancing. This means that more people get to hear bands and that certainly helps the entertainment business as a whole,” points out Robert.
Later this year he will make a trip to the United States when he will be accompanied by many of his fans and they will take in many of the sights in his home state Louisiana.
It’s something to which Robert is particularly looking forward.

For the moment, though, his entire focus is on the Tullyglass House Hotel on Saturday, March 23.
