Tony, who works at Brownlow Resource Centre, got the idea from long walks up hills with Harry.

He took the ten-year-old collie cross along as a passenger recently and confirmed the pooch “didn’t mutter a word” during the flight from Slieve Donard.
“My wife and I designed and created a harness so that I could take Harry for long hill walks and then fly down,” said Tony.
He said he had been flying for nine years and feels this summer’s flights with Harry are the first of its type ever done from Slieve Donard.

It was definitely a case of puppy love when Tony took to the skies with his pampered pooch.
It took about 20 minutes to glide the 2,700 feet from the top of the peak to the beach in Newcastle, County Down.
