Hide AdLois Kennedy, from the Waterfront, said: “It is the busiest opening I have ever seen in my time working here, all with brilliant comments.”
As people filtered through the four week exhibition many left positive feedback and inspirational words.
Clinton was enthused by the response from visitors with comments such as: “I was here, I lived, I loved - I understand!” and “Powerful images and startling colour convey rawness and richness of Africa.”
Clinton is planning a return visit to Africa in 2012 to develop the work he has started and create a new body of his own work on a self arranged residency. The Lisburn Arts Advisory Committee have very supported a small donation towards the fundraising for the residency.
