Britain’s Got Talent star coming to Cookstown High School
The project is their creation and with the help of their teacher Mrs M Ferguson who is helping organising the event in association with The Enterprise Factor CIC, Belfast.
The project is already creating a buzz around the school. It combines a range of employability related skills including liaising with businesses, the media and organising the logistics of a major event.

Hide AdThe headline act will be Jordan O’Keefe, with comedian, Fabu D Thomas from Dublin featuring alongside him, Joseph McVeigh from Dungannon and a host of talent from the High School itself.
Proceeds from the concert, which is planned for June 20th, will go to two charities, Epilepsy Awareness and Cookstown Community Cancer Charity.
The pupils are very grateful to local businesses who have already given them financial support, such as The Royal Hotel, RT Autoparts, MAC Automation, Stanley Bell & Sons, Haffey Sports Grounds, Just Desserts, Tulip Beauty, Keystone Lintels and Serephina.
Speaking about the concert, the girls said, “This is a really exciting opportunity to work with businesses, performers, charities and the wider community. We know this project will be a great way for us to develop important skills and knowledge while giving the whole school community something to work at towards the end of the term. We are delighted to be able to help support some important local charities.”
