Charity seeks nail technicians
The charity’s volunteers provide complimentary nail treatments and hand massages for patients at Craigavon Area Hospital while they wait for their cancer treatment - but the charity needs more helping hands because the service is so popular.
Susan Johnston, lead nail bar volunteer with Cancer Focus NI, said: “It means so much for people to get some time away from their treatment and forget about being in hospital for a while - and with your help more patients can enjoy our nail bar experience.

“It’s so satisfying when patients tell me how much better they feel in themselves after a session and feedback from nursing staff is always excellent. As well as treatments for women, we also offer hand massages and nail care advice to men – everyone deserves some time out and pampering.”
Volunteers must have NVQ level 2 beauty therapy and you can find out more about this role by contacting Morag or Sam on 9066 3281 or email [email protected].
