Knitting group ‘casts on’ for SCFS
The 200-member knitting group based in the Salvation Army’s Ballymena Charity Shop are now kniting & crocheting hats in support of a good cause that’s new to them - the Seamen’s Christian Friends Society (SCFS).
And in doing so they are helping Ballymena man Colin Jenkins raise awareness that there are some one million men at sea, involved in the world’s trade.
