History talk at St Peter’s Hall
Following on from a well-received talk on the signing of the Ulster Covenant of 1912, they are continuing with a presentation on (tonight) Thursday at 8pm in St Peter’s Parochial Hall by the Rev Dr Johnston McMaster, the well-known writer and broadcaster from the Irish School of Ecumenics, Trinity College, Dublin, on “The role of the Churches in Irish Politics 1912-1922” - a period of momentous change in our history, ranging from the signing of the Ulster Covenant in 1912 up to the partition of Ireland.
These talks are held in an informal and friendly manner and people from all traditions are very welcome to attend. There is an opportunity to put your questions to the speaker, admission is free and light refreshments are served.
