Get your granny online on Silver Surfers’ Day
Organised by Business in the Community in partnership with the Department of Finance and Personnel and Libraries NI, business volunteers will be on hand to help and provide invaluable advice to those wishing to get to grips with technology and surf the internet with free training.
Finance Minister, Sammy Wilson said: “I would encourage everyone over 50 to book their place and come along and join in the fun on Friday, May 18.

We want to get as many people as possible online and this event is a really effective way of engaging and encouraging those who may feel less comfortable using the internet.
