Derek gets ready to live La Dolce Vita
As well as enjoying his favourite Italian food at the restaurant, which is part of the award-winning Galgorm resort and Spa, Derek Dunlop also won a trip to the home of fabulous Italian fare, Rome.
The trip for two was part of Fratelli’s plans to celebrate the National Day of Italy on June 2.

Hide AdThe competition, which took place across both the Galgorm-based Fratelli and its sister restaurant on Belfast’s Great Victoria Street, was open to anyone who ate in either of the restaurants from June 1-7, and was supported by Jet2 and Rosetta Travel.
As a resident of the Galgorm area 38-year-old Derek, is a Fratelli regular and was stunned when he heard he’d won the trip.
“Living as close as we do, we’re often in Fratelli as well as Gillies restaurant at the Galgorm Resort & Spa. I couldn’t believe it when I heard I’d won and my wife is as delighted as I am!
“We are very much looking forward to jetting off, and the menu at Fratelli has given us a real flavour for Italian dishes so food will play a big part in this holiday.”
