Ballet Ireland bring Carmen to life
Ballet Ireland are about to start their tour of a passionate new “Carmen” by choreographer-in-residence, Morgann Runacre-Temple and will be performing at Theatre at the Mill on Friday (November 1).
Ballet Ireland’s new production of this once scandalous story will see the tale of naïve soldier José and his Gypsy love told in a modern-day setting.
This is the fourth ballet Morgann has created for Ballet Ireland. In the last two years she has also choreographed works for the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and the London’s Children’s Ballet.
The production will also feature John Walsh, Flamenco guitarist, who will be performing live on stage.
Tickets are on sale from the Box Office on 028 9034 0202.
